WHAT?

This message certainly prompts that, and to sure it's for the mature and not the childish.

There is such a thing as "good pain."  Going to the gym, running a race, struggling to learn something new.  And then there is a deeper growth from deeper pain.

Consider that if Bruce Wayne's parents weren't murdered, he probably wouldn't have become Batman.   Granted, we don't need to have such a traumatic loss to instill greatness in us, but the lesser experiences in the same vein also hold merit.

When I was fresh out of college and couldn't find work "doing what I went to school for" (sound familiar?) I had the "paying the bills jobs" for the first 8 years while raising a family and trying to find my own way.  Eventually I did create a company (and I had NO interest in being in business!). but the "paying the bills" jobs gave me the experiences I needed to be good at running a business.

OF COURSE I'm still learning, but the moral is "pain brings wisdom."

Reflect on that which was a major P.I.T.A. in your life and see where it actually helped forge the great version of yourself today.

Don't seek pain, it will find you anyway, but seek to learn from it.
